Great Read! I can relate to everything this author is talking about. I would recommend this book to anyone that's going through hard times.
A very candid and introspective journey through one girls experience with abuse and foster care. Truly gives insight into her mind and the way she understood the world. Beautiful in its rawness.
Terribly sad to think that a young adult put into foster care could be hurt in the ways described quite candidly in this book. It is the real deal, not fiction, and the intimate, unschooled language used makes that all,the more clear. A very worthwhile read and recommended for anyone looking into this subject. How can it happen? It just does.
